You want to use your PKM to think, but you don’t know how to do it.
I’m pretty sure you’re asking yourself questions like these:
- How do I process my ideas?
- What’s the way I can use…
- How do I develop ideas and make them grow?
- How do I move from one idea to another?
What’s an Idea?
First off, you need to have crystal clear about what an idea is.
An idea is the beginning of something: other ideas, a project, a dream…
But you also have to understand and assume this: an idea can be nothing.
This approach will improve your health. Believe me.
When you understand an idea can be nothing, you take the pressure away. You start feeling the sensation of freedom. Freedom is what you need to think.
Based on that approach, use these principles:
- Don’t think a lot.
- Let your intuition flow.
- Be pragmatic.
When I’m looking at an idea, I ask myself these easy and intuitive questions:
- Is this idea related to another one?
- Should I take any action with it?
- Is there any doubts or questions I should dig deeper into?
Use those questions as prompts, but don’t waste time wondering hours.
Practice thinking easily, using intuition, trusting the first thing that comes to your mind.
Linking ideas, taking action on them, and trying to find answers to open points or doubts will quickly lead you to increase your knowledge about the things that matter to you.
Once again, common sense and logic are the best tools to improve your life.
Takeaways
Maybe you’re worried about forgetting or losing an idea. Don’t panic. If an idea is worth it, you’ll come back to it.
I can’t remember how many times I’ve been surprised by start writing an idea and seeing I had already written it.
If you never go back to an idea, it means you’re not interested in it. No drama.
